There's nothing wrong with golf, guys.

It's so good you get to wear collared tops with the collars popped. And cool hats. Like me.

Hope that title didn't scare you away. Don't worry, the rest of the update won't be as probing and intellectually challenging.
Anyway, damn the lack of updating going on! Damn it to hell! What else are you guys doing? Can you not take a break from having a wee chug under the table to type a bit? I did, it's the least you guys can do.

A win against St Columba's on Saturday lifted the 4XV's spirits. 10-7 was the score, and the team did well, so I was proud. The match also led to me getting a rather nice, large gash on my left arm, which woo'd many a lady at Jen's house.
Battle of the Band's wasn't fabby. It was quite dull apart from Jamie's band, whom I loved, even for the music (you plebs, get over yourselves cos it was a bit too loud). However, thing's got more exciting back at Jen's. Good times.

Sunday was reallllllllllllly bad. Shot a 98 in the medal, which will result in a 0.1 leap in my handicap from 17.9 to 18.0. Bummery-bums. It just means I'll have to shoot something in the 80s next time, which is more than do-able.

Monday I remember as being dull, and sweaty at rugby training.

Tuesday was much the same, except we did the Bleep Test in PE. Got 11.5 which is kinda disappointing, even if I did come first out of our class and the 3rd year girls. I'll shoot for 13 next time. After all, shoot for moon. Even if you fall, you'll land among the stars *cough*.

Wednesday was less than awesome, especially with a 15-5 loss to High School. Poor performance all round. Even from me. Yes, I can admit when I'm wrong.

Only redeeming thing about today was getting full marks in the maths home exercise.

Cheero, Adam.

I thought I'd snap you out of your false sense of security with that rather agressive and probing title. I can imagine you all sitting in your swivel chairs going "Hahaha! I knew this would happen! Adam's not updating...again. What a prick". Well, let me tell you, I've not given up (yet) and the pwning is going to be undeniably barbaric in the coming weeks. Sorry guys. But you suck. And you know it.

Sadly, Monday reared its ugly head after what was, all-in-all, a fairly satisfactory weekend. Annoyingly, Monday has all 5 of my stupid subjects, so it's without a doubt the worst day. Add rugby to this equation and it all gets worse. Highlight of the day was Economics where we all spent 20 minutes at the end arguing over where Stuart lived: Newton Mearns or Whitecraigs. Twas a nice break from an otherwise dull subject. Rugby actually wasn't too bad though we came to the conclusion that Mr. Barkley is a bit of an arsehole making us do stupid amounts of fitness and stuff. Meh. Read the first chapter of the Cone Gatherers. Pretty depressing, even after only a few pages.

Tuesday was also pretty dull if I remember correctly, though my ego did get a healthy boost when it became apparent I'm the fastest runner, full stop, in my class. Not surprising though, let's be honest with ourselves.

Wednesday at school was also boring (I'm beginning to spot a trend here). Rugby afterwards was absolutely dire though. Seriously unfulfilling stuff it has to be said. I despair at the lack of ability some of the fourth years have. Then we had the Stereophonics. Generally, it was a good night. Had a couple of pints too, thanks to Iain. Dead 60's were good fun to dance to, even if some of the troop were perhaps slightly embarassed by me. I don't care, I enjoyed it. Then on came the Stereophonics, and it was all good for about an hour (despite not knowing many of the songs), until a point I started to feel really faint and tired. So Iain gave me a boost and I crowd surfed to the front where I was escorted to a quieter bit. Twas ok, I could hear the band from outside quite well enough, spanks. And I was also drenched in enough sweat and beer.

Thursday stank of shite. Though i did get my Jaymz Hetfield essay back. Got 16, which I think is the tip-top in the class.

Today's been just the same really, though we got our first friday sweety from Mrs Jack. She mishead me saying to Jen and Rebecca "These sweets are the own" and I think she thinks I was insulting her sweety-buying-ability. Which I wasn't, cos I love boiled sweets. Then after school I went back to McColl's house to work on Iron Maiden's The Trooper. It went, surprisingly, very well. You'll be impressed you guys. Then came back and ate with Mr Simon Hall, Rachael's bro. What a great guy (seriously).

Rugby tomorrow, then golf on Sunday to look forward to. Should be good.

So I've decided that updating is actually some cool gay shit, so I've decided to pwn you all by doing this as much as possible. It's gonna be like stepping back in time, except it won't be, because I'm going to pwn you all by even more this time round so the results won't be comparable.

So, like I said yesterday, rugby was played by all good men who partake in the playing of the sport. Much joviality was had on either sides, but my team were playing and responding especially well because they had me, Captain Gay. Despite losing by 5 points, we showed that we had the better runners, tacklers and cooler guys than the other team. Good fun. Then I watched Iain playing, scoring a try and collapsing. The shame of it...

So anyway, came home with the addition of Simon Hall who I've decided isn't actually a bad guy, had stuff to eat and waved everyone goodbye as they set off for either

A/ The East Renfrewshire Golf Club, or
B/ A furniture/homes exhibition.

You can guess who went where. So I went on msn, chatted to Rebecca and updated. Again, joviality was had but not as much as previously that morning.

The evening brought a visit to a friend's house to play cricket both in real life and virtually, and to eat crap. I have decided that I am no batsman, yet I'm not half-bad at bowling. But then again, I do rule, so maybe I'm being a tad modest.

Today started at the un-godly hour of 9.30 as I had to be at the rugby club for 10.30. I was coaching the p5s today because of a lack of coaching staff at this particular level. It was alright, but the wee bastards were being cheeky and mouthing off to me because they already knew me. I hate them.

So I then was picked up, went to Asda (woo, fun) and helped my dad to do shit with ripping and carpets and things. Thankfully, Shane phoned up and invited me round to his house for cricket. So off I walked (it took my 40 minutes, 30 of those being Metallica-les as I had not enough battery on my phone to power the mp3 player) and arrived at the Warne household, where to my delight Shane was setting up cricket stuff with Glenn. We got straight into the action with me, Brett, bowling. I was hot-stuff. I think I got something crazy like 10 wickets today so I was pleased. But then again, I do rule so I'm probably being too modest.

Came back, had pizza, and ended up here, where most good days end.

Saturday's are boring... [Sep. 3rd, 2005|03:29 pm]

...especially when you're not doing anything. Yeah, rugby was fun this morning (as Captain Gay I did my job, and rather well too it must be said) but now I'm sitting here, talking to Rebecca and browsing the UG forums. I'm bored, and can't go anywhere because:

A/ No one's home
B/ I'm lazy and don't want to walk
C/ I have no time
D/ I can't be arsed phoning/texting/msn-ing (though it's difficult when they're not on) anyone to ask them to do shizzle.

So basically I thought I'd do something more-constructive-than-nothing-but-slightly-less-constructive-that-playing-guitar-and-even-less-constructive-than-doing-homework. That sentence is going to fuck up your screen. I'm not sorry.

Here's an update. I can't guarantee I'll hold your interest but I'll do my best.

Monday was first day back, as you know (if you don't, feel free to give yourself a slap). Utterly boring up until English and Economics. Both decent lessons that I should do well in. Then came rubgy and we had a glorious training session full of fitness and stuff. I sweated my arse off, but at least now I'm fitter than I was and could last 70-80 minutes on a rugger pitch, if need be.

Tuesday was slightly less interesting as it didn't hold the promise of seeing people you hadn't seen all summer, though I did get aquainted with my new PE class and came first in the run, simply because I rule and they don't. For some reason (and I think Jimmy will agree with me), maths was extremely interesting. The mind boggles.

Wednesday was a good day because I got to test-drive the whole study period thing that people had been raving about. Unfortunately, mind was at the start of the day so it was a bit pointless as it didn't serve as a break or an opportunity to go home. So I sat and listened to Metallica and read the Changeling, whilst being giggled at by Lisa and Emily cos they could hear the music through the headphones, and guessed correctly when Mr Hammet was doing his uber-noodling on the guitar. Rugby was really good, as I was playing stand-off, played the position successfully and I found my voice and started shouting at people left and right which was fun, yet people had a slight grudge against me afterwards for some reason. Again, the mind boggles. Wednesday evening saw a dumping come my way, but it's ok people, I'M NOT DEPRESSED. Though you've probably gathered this from my MSN name.

Thursday was more boring than Tuesday. Learning isn't as fun as it could be I've decided, and the lunch queues were just ridiculous. So ridiculous all the baguettes were gone so I settled for a bottle of Oasis for lunch at school and then tomato soup and lashings of bread when I got home. I rule almost too much at eating craply. Feel free to applaude me. In your own time of course.

Yesterday was more boring than Tuesday but less boring than Thursday because, well, it's Friday and you don't have to go to school til Monday when it's all over (again, you should know this type of information. I'm wasting my time typing it). I'm pleased with my progress in Physics though. Glad I don't have Oily B again. She has a saggy arse.

So there you go: my life throughout the course of this week in no more than a few paragraphs. You lucky beggars.

Adam.
